But what we can already reveal: Next time, too, the assembly teams can expect a colorful program of practice and theory with our team and other experts from the UV-CIPP industry. 

SAERTEX is now certified according to the environmental management standard DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 at its Saerbeck site. The certification covers both parts of the company: SAERTEX GmbH & Co KG with its lightweight materials and the subsidiary SAERTEX multiCom GmbH, which manufactures GRP pipe liners for trenchless pipe rehabilitation. With the certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001, the SAERTEX GROUP has now successfully implemented its years of optimization in terms of sustainability in an internationally recognized management system standard.

On September 22 and 23, we invited our industry to the 9th Saerbeck Pipe Symposium.

Under this year's motto "The future is trenchless", the focus was on sustainability, digitalization and innovations.

Once again this year, there was an exciting conference program, plant tours, live demonstrations, an exhibition area and our traditional Bavarian evening.

Thanks to the 14 speakers, 28 exhibitors, 300 guests from all over the world and our SAERTEX multiCom team, the event was a complete success.

After numerous trade fairs were cancelled due to the Corona pandemic, SAERTEX multiCom will be back this year as an exhibitor at IFAT in Munich (29 May to 03 June 2022, Hall C3, Booth 317). The focus is on technologies and services for the trenchless rehabilitation of pressure pipelines, especially drinking water and gas. When it comes to the rehabilitation of drinking water and gas pipelines, experienced experts with equipment and know-how provide support worldwide from the concept phase to successful project completion, enabling customers to carry out their projects smoothly.

Rehabilitation using trenchless technology is in itself more sustainable than conventional construction methods. In addition, we have set ourselves the goal of increasing our contribution to CO2 savings even further. The topic of sustainability is therefore an integral part of our corporate strategy, which is continuously driven forward by Michael Lensing as Sustainability Manager at SAERTEX multiCom.

In order to make trenchless pipeline rehabilitation more sustainable, SAERTEX multiCom introduced the SAERTEX-LINER UPgreen at the end of 2020. The company has since used this key innovation in the sustainable production of GRP liners as standard for all SAERTEX-LINERS in the product range with UP resins. To date, the new technology has enabled savings of one million kilograms of CO₂.
